2012 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 SE

This 2012 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 SE was recently traded into a South Carolina Volkswagen dealership. It is a budget priced sedan that is state inspected and seems to run very well. I have personally driven it for around 100 miles with no issues noted.

This Jetta currently has 231,382 miles on it. It has a clean Autocheck vehicle history that shows no reported accidents. It has a clean title. It has had four owners. The first three were in Southern California and the fourth was in South Carolina.

This car is gray with a gray leather interior. It is equipped with cruise control, power windows, power door locks and a factory stereo with CD player. It is powered by a 2.5-liter five cylinder engine mated to an automatic transmission with sport mode.

The car starts right up, but has a little puff of smoke from the exhaust on initial start-up. It shifts well and has no drivability issues. It has passed a State of North Carolina safety inspection.

The interior has a fair amount of wear that would probably be considered average for its age and mileage. The headliner is in poor condition. It is torn in spots, has some stains and sags. The leather is pretty good. There is a tear on the left edge of the driver’s seat and a rip on the left bolster. There is moderate to heavy wear on the steering wheel. The air conditioning is cold, but just cool at idle. It could probably benefit from a recharge for optimal performance. The tire pressure light is on. There are also typical scratches and wear on trim pieces.

The exterior is straight. The paint on the roof shows moderate to heavy fading. There is an area of sandblasted paint on the front bumper cover and a scuff on the left rear corner of the rear bumper cover. There are typical scratches, dings and chips. The mirror cap is broken and we plan to replace that. There is a star sized chip in the windshield, but it is minor and does not obstruct the view. The front emblem is chipped. There is a finger-sized ding on the right side of the hood.

The tires are Michelins and are sized 205/55R16. They have very good tread remaining. The wheel covers are new plastic aftermarket wheel covers.

The car comes with two keyfobs.
